MRS. M. F. WILSON DIED AT THE HOME OF HER DAUGHTER IN MONTICELLO
 News was received in Thomasville this morning of the death of Mrs. M. F. Wilson at the home of
her daughter Mrs. Jim Freeman at Monticello, Fla., following  an attack of pneumonia.
Arrangements have been made for the funeral services at Salem Church on the Pavo Road in this
county tomorrow afternoon at three o'clock. Mrs. Wilson was in her eighty-eighth year and was
respected and admired throughout this section where she had lived for many years. It is with a
feeling of profound sorrow that her friends here will learn of her death, even though at an
advanced age and after a life of many activities and useful pursuits. Mrs. Wilson is survived
by the following children:
 Mrs. Jim Freeman of Monticello; Mrs. I.P. Wilson of Valdosta; Mrs. Jim Fullwood of Tampa;
Messrs. J.P. Wilson, Arthur Wilson, and George Wilson all of Pavo, Ga., Mr. Eddie Wilson of
Coolidge and Mr. J.B. Wilson Of this city.

MRS. MARY WILSON PASSED AWAY NEAR MONTICELLO
 On February 10, 1933, the death angel visited the home of Mrs. Sallie Freeman near Monticello
and took from their midst the beloved mother and grandmother.
 Mrs. Wison was born in Mitchell County, September 1844 and was deprived of a mother's love in
early life, after which she lived with an aunt.
 In early life she was married to Mr. Wilson in Jefferson County, but practically all their
married life was spent in Thomas County which she loved so well.
 She was a devoted mother and Christian worker having united with the Missionary Baptist Church
in her girlhood days. Her health was very good, she being sick only a short time, having a case
of flue, which caused her death.
 She was a regular attendant to church and always ready to lend a helping hand or kind word to
brighten anyone's life. She was a devoted lover of Christ.
 Besides hosts of friends, Mrs. Wilson leaves to mourn her loss six sons and two daughters, Mr.
Wilson having preceded her to the grave twenty three years ago.
 The children, a union of brothers and sisters which hasn't been broken are:
 J.B. Wilson, Thomasville, Ga., J.P. Wilson, Thomasville, Ga., S.A. Wilson, Thomasville, Ga.,
A.P. Wilson, Pavo, Ga., I.P. Wilson, Valdosta, Ga., E.R. Wilson, Coolidge, Ga., Mrs. Sallie
Freeman, Monticello, Fla., and Mrs. Florence Fulwood, Tampa, Fla., besides she was blessed with
44 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
 The funeral services were held at Salem Baptist Church on Saturday, February 11, at 3:00
o'clock conducted by Rev. W.J. Chisholm of Lakeland, Ga., assisted by Rev. T.F. Callaway of
Thomasville, Ga.
 Her sons acted as pallbearers and her body was laid to rest in Salem Cemetery.

OBITUARY FOR JOHN BRINSON WILSON

JOHN B. WILSON DIED AT HOSPITAL LATE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON
 Many friends are sincerely sorry to learn of the death of Mr. John B. Wilson at the hospital
late yesterday afternoon after an illness of about ten days. Funeral services have been
arranged for this afternoon at four o'clock at Whiddon's Funeral Home. Rev. Clyde Spear and
Rev. A.T. Hart will officiate. Mr. Callaway being out of town. Interment will be in Laurel Hill
and pallbearers are Billy Drew, Jack drew, O.J. Fleetwood, Bobby Fleetwood, O.L. and Carlton
Fleet wood. Honorary will be Messrs. Albert Long, Jim Keyton, Henry Knowles, Rudolph Keyton,
Tes Wade, and Leo Van Landingham.
 Mr. Wilson was born February 18, 1870, in Thomas County and has been a remarkably active and
useful citizen for many of those years. He was the son of Isaac and Mary Frances Carter Wilson.
His wife was the former Minnie Atkinson and they were married in Monticello in 1897. Mrs.
Wilson died in January 8, 1941, and is buried at Laurel Hill. Mr. Wilson lived his long life
entirely in Thomas County, the last 27 years being in Thomasville, where he was connected with
the Thomasville Ice Company and made a memorable contribution to the effectiveness and
operation of the plant. He was highly respected and held in esteem by all with whom he worked.
He is survived by one son, Rowland Wilson, of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. O.L. Fleetwood
and Mrs. C.A. Dollar. There are two brothers, J.P. Wilson of Patten and Ed Wilson of Coolidge,
and two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Freeman of Monticello and Mrs. Mitchell Fretwood of Tampa.
 Plans are under the direction of the Whiddon Funeral Home.

 Mr. Wilson, a retired farmer, died yesterday in Moultrie.

OBITUARY FOR SUSAN SAVILLA DONALDSON WILSON

MRS. SUSAN WILSON DIES AT HER HOME IN THE PATTEN COMMUNITY
 Mrs. Susan Donaldson Wilson died at her home in the Patten community, Sunday, after an illness
of two weeks, having suffered from high blood pressure and subsequent complications.
 Funeral services will be held at the Harmony Cemetery near Barwick at 3:30 o'clock tomorrow
afternoon with Elders M.T. Sheppard and W. Rogers conducting the services.
 Asked to serve as pallbearers are Messrs. Sam Chapman, Joe Moore, Griff Holloway, Tommy
Stephenson, Arthur Massey and Berry Massey. Honorary pallbearers will be Messrs. Floyd Vick,
L.E. Newsome, A.J. Williams, Ed Golden, Max Brown and J.P. Wilson.
 Mrs. Wilson, the former Miss Susan Donaldson, was born in Grady County, Georgia, on April 24,
1884, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Donaldson. She was married in 1903 at Cairo to Mr. George
A. Wilson and they made their home in Thomas County since their marriage.
 She was a member of the primitive Baptist Church.
 Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband and the following children, Ashton, Roy, Fondren,
Ellis, Ansel, Isaac and T.W. Wilson, and Mrs. L.E. Newsome and Miss Annie Lou Wilson. Three
brothers, Gilbert Donaldson of Stuart, Fla., Cory Donaldson of Cairo, and James Donaldson of
Seffner, Fla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Betha Chason of Stuart, Fla., Mrs. Maggie Rawls, and
Mrs. Nettie Aldredge of Port Niches, Texas, also survive. All of the survivors are expected to
attend the funeral.
 Funeral arrangements are in charge of Whiddon's Funeral Home.

MR. ARTHUR P. WILSON, WELL KNOWN THOMAS COUNTY FARMER, DIES--
 Mr. Arthur P. Wilson, well known Thomas County farmer, died at his residence near Patten at
10:30 o'clock last night, following an illness of several weeks.
 Funeral services will  be held at the Salem Baptist Church at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon with
Rev. W.J. Chisholm, of Lakeland, Ga., officiating. Interment will take place in the Salem
Cemetery with the following pallbearers: Messrs. W.B. Murry, R.C. Jonier, James Williams, J.A.
Vick, and Sid Kangery.
 Mr. Wilson was born on September 26, 1882, a son of the late Mr. I.B. and Mary Carter Wilson.
He spent his boyhood on the farm with his parents, and in June 18, 1905 married Emma Anderson
of Jefferson County, Fla., who survives him together with seven children. They are Mrs. S.M.
Vick, Mrs. C.L. Cone, and the Misses Johnnie Ruth and Kay Bell Wilson, and Messrs. Felton,
Earnest, and Brinson Wilson, all of Patten.
 Five brothers, Messrs. J.P. and G.A. Wilson of Patten, I.P. Wilson of Valdosta, E.R. Wilson of
Coolidge, and J.B. Wilson of Thomasville and two sisters, Mrs. S.C. Freeman of Monticello,
Fla., and Mrs. M.P. Fullwood of Tampa, Fla., also survive.
 Mr. Wilson was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and in Thomas County his entire life time.
He was successfully engaged in farming and was well known throughout this entire section.
 Funeral arrangements were handled by the Whiddon Funeral Home.

MRS. WILSON PASSES AT 78
 PATTEN COMMUNITY - Mrs. A.P. Wilson, 78, a resident of Patten Community since 1905, died last
night at Archbold Memorial after a three-week illness.
 Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Salem Baptist Church with the Revs. Floyd Dalton,
Monticello, and Harold Smith, Valdosta, officiating. Whiddon Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
 Pallbearers will be Frank Willey, Ernest Vonier, Warren T. Hunter, J.T. Dean, Walter Murray
Jr. and Russell Smith.
 Mrs. Wilson was a native of Monticello, Fla., but moved to Patten 58 years ago after her
marriage to A.P. Wilson. She was the daughter of the late John Henry and Elizabeth Tanner
Anderson. Her husband preceded her in death in 1937.
 She was a graduate of Monticello, Fla., schools and a member of Kennedy Chapel Baptist Church.
 Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Susie Mae Vick, Tampa; Miss Johnnie Ruth Wilson, Route 3,
Pavo; Mrs. Cora Lee Cone, Thomasville; and Mrs. Katie Belle Swan, Newton; two sons, Ernest L.
Wilson, Atlanta, and Hubert B. Wilson, Pavo; four sisters, Mrs. J.T. Wilson, Thomasville; Mrs.
W.C. Barrett and Mrs. John Barrett, Monticello, and Mrs. William Roddenberry, Vero Beach; 12
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
