Samuel and Biddie were ennumerated twice on the 1860 census -- once in
Monroe Co GA (as
Samuel and Millie), and then again in Newton Co MS (as Samuel and Mittie,
her nickname).
He served the CSA in the CW in 2nd MS Cav and survived the war, taking his
family to Arkansas.
