  * Edward Pharr and first wife Mary Orr 2.2.7
  * Was ordained in 1803 by Hopwell Presbytery of North Carolina.
  * In the Georgia roster of Rev. soldiers by Knight 1920 p. 317 he is listed in Maj. Bowen's battalion, see p.5.
  * He was one of the executory of his fathers will in 1794. He inherited from his father one hundred acres of land tht Edward Pharr had bought from "Hue and Walton" also Edward's "riding horse".
  * In 1813 Edward Pharr sold his land in Oglethorpe Co., Ga. and is named as "a student of the state of South Carolina".
  * He was one of the executors of his fathers will in 1794.
  * Capt. Orr Dist. No. 257 and his widow was entitled to draw in the land lottery of 1825 in Jackson Co., Ga. (question he was still alive in 1825. Got remaried that year.)
  * 1800 census for Oglethorpe County, Phair Edward 1 male 26-45=1, 3 females 0-10=1, 26-45=1. The male would be Edward. The older female would be Mary Orr, the two younger females would be Hanna Feb. 1799 and Elizabeth Oct. 9 1800.

  * Mary Polly 2.3.28 On the 1850 census for Jackson County there are no Pollys age 48 and four Mary's. Mary Holiday, Mary R. McCullouch, Mary Edwards and Mary Murphy. There are two Marys age 49. Mary Glinderson and Mary Orr. There are threee Mary's age 17. Mary Hill, Oliver and Wilson. Might not be any of them.

  * Ephraim 2.3.31 Pharrs and Farrs says died when his son George was a young boy. He also lived in Floyd Co. Ga. and moved to Cobb Co., Ga. near Marrieta then to Alabama.

  * On the 14 July 1860 census pg. 334 for Oregon Lost Mtn. Po Cobb County, Ga. 797/779 Ephram Pharr 57/m farmer $1000. $200. born Ga, M.C. 39/f/NC, W. N. 20/m/Ga. farm labor, G. W. F. 13/m/Ga, Nancy 57/f/NC, L. L. E? 15/f/Ga. second house from John Pharr. Who is M. C. she is 39. Could it be his wife? Old enough to be the mother of W. N. who is 20 and G. W. who is 13? Note this does not match the age of William but close enough for George. Who is Nancy age 57 and L. L. E. age 15
  * william -2.3.32 Some dates and names from Pharrs and Farrs. Family lived near Gainsville, Ga. also in Floyd Co., Ga. and Moved later with brothers to Cobb Co., Ga. Near Marrieta. In about 1869 he moved again to Holly Springs, Mississippi. Both William and Cynthia are bur. in Bethelam Cemetery near Holly Springs near Potts Camp, Miss.
