Documentation:
This family was followed as close as possible by
Census... Elisha and Lucy right after marriage were living with the
Jackson RICH family in Butts County, Ga. In 1860 they were in Proctors
District, Monroe County, Ga.  After Elisha W.'s death in 1862, Lucy
maintained the household in Monroe County, near her mother, Elizabeth
EDWARDS and brother Berry. Thanks to a cousin Elsie RAPE we found a
letter dated 10-21-1861 from Elisha W. stationed in Virginia that was
written to brother Henry Bluford. In Monroe County, Ga records Lucy was
granted a pension for the year 1898,  Nothing after that.  No records of
Sarah (Sally)after 1870 census.
