When formulating your request, please be specific in what you ask and provide enough information (what you already know) to assist your Look-Up Volunteer to identify the ancestor you seek. DO NOT send your entire file. DO NOT ask for everyone with a certain surname. Volunteers are instructed to ignore requests for volumes of information.

Look-Up Volunteers provide this service free of charge, however, if you request photocopies, photographs or other material to be mailed to you, expect to reimburse the volunteer for her/his expenses.
