Roberts Cemeteries

From Denton, take US 377 south to Country Club Road; left on Country Club Road for 0.9 miles to Thornridge Circle Road, right on Thornridge Circle Road 0.6 miles. (When road splits and either goes straight or bears to right, keep going straight - road curves several times.) gate on left; go through gate for 125 yards to first burial location - 50' east is a stone leaning against a tree - 200' further east is the second burial site. Cemeteries are on private property.

There are two abandoned cemeteries in the following location. Names of the cemeteries are unknown. They were found by home-owners in the area and reported to the Denton County Historical Commission. A search of the locations was done and even though both areas have several burials, only two stone were legible. Very limited information on first owners of land where the cemeteries are located. The oldest records are pre-1947, owned by Dr. H.E. Roberts.
