Iver's first name is sometimes spelled Ever in the records. His surname
early on, i.e. until about 1890, can show as Olsen, Olson, or Oleson as well
as Stixrood. Later, it seems to be consistently Stixrood.
Similarly, the Steffenson surname is variously spelled Stephenson and
Stevenson.
