He was a former Boone County school bus driver and was a Christian.

Emery Edmonson Perry
He was retired from the Kroger Warehouse after 39 years of 
employment and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 175. 
He was a veteran of World War _II, receiving the Purple Heart, and 
was a longtime member of VFW Post 8129, Dunbar. __Emery was 
also a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene but attended 
Springfork Missionary Baptist Church.

Korean War, and a member of the Racine United Methodist Church, 
Racine.
He was a Republican Canadate for Boone County Sheriff in Boone 
County in 1976.
