Documentation: This was the 2nd or 3rd marriage of William M Hubbard,My
Grandfather Warren L Hubbard stated that his G Grandmother Caroline was a
Poindexter, and he had an Uncle Joe Poindexter. George Bulie Hubbard's
Mo. Death Certificate #10023,dated 19 March 1913 for date of death,
father was Wm Hubbard born Virginia, Mother was Poindexter, born
Virginia.
     "Pioneer Families of Missouri" by Bryan and Rose written in
1876,stated "Richad Poindexter married Miss Ford of Virginia and one of
their children was Caroline K, Richard Poindexter settled In Montgomery
Co Mo in 1837",  Wm M Hubbard and Caroline settled in Montgomery  Co Mo
about 2 years earlier in 1835, Us Land Patents and Land Recorded at
Montgomery Co Mo Courthouse for William M Hubbard.William and Caroline
Hubbard named several of their children with the same names that were in
her Poindexter family   These were  Richard their first son after
Caroline's father Richard Poindexter, Mary after her sister, Edward
Lewis after her brother, and James after her brother.
     Slave census of 1840 back in Campbell Co Virginia, shows William
M Hubbard's slaves counted next to his brother in laws Thomas F Poindexter
and Edward Lewis Poindexter, we believe that the Poindexter's that remained
in Campbell County Va were taking care of the interests of William M
Hubbard that he still had in Campbell Co Virginia.
     Many of Caroline's Poindexter brother's were living next to her in 
Danville Twp Montgomery Co Mo on the census's after the death of her
husband William M Hubbard.

     1830 US Census Campbell Co Virginia, still with 1st wife who
is in the 40 to 50 year age range as is William.
