Notes:
* Everything points to Lucinda WILBURN EVANS SEABOURNE being the Mother-in-law to Benjamin JACKSON of NC. Lucinda is found in the 1850 census of Jefferson County, MO. living with all 7 of Benjamin JACKSON's children. She was 66 years old. Her son, James Monroe SEABOURNE was the administrator of Benjamin's probate, in 1852, he was appointed guardian of 4 (four) of Benjamin's children and in a letter from Lucinda's g- granddaughter, Mabel SEABOURNE EVANS, she states that Lucinda's son, James Monroe SEABOURNE went to Tennessee and brought his mother, sister and step-sister back to Missouri with him. She also said that Lucinda owned a small farm in what was later to become "downtown Nashville." She said that James just packed up the women and left the farm and everything. She states that Lucinda was her "Great Grandmama, with the French blood." She also says that Lucinda "was a tiny woman and I believe that she must have had the French blood, and her father may have been a French Creole." I have searched for information on Lucinda for several years and have found that she and her parents/siblings, husbands and children are very elusive people and I would welcome any leads on them.
