Documentation: William Lewis Queen VA, DAR Continental Line of Georgia
Rangers.William MacQueen and wife Katherine Lewis Queen inherit land in
Charles County, Maryland along with her married sisters, Mary Hunt,
Elizabeth Fry, and Anne Robins in 1741.    1761/1781 William MacQueen and
his second wife Margaret, are in North Carolina as neighbors with the
fry's hunt's and Robins.  William and Margaret are the first noted in
1761 as property owners in Anson County, North Carolina.  Page: Last Will
of Seventeen deed records relating to William Queen (MacQueen),17.
Rutherford County, NC Miscelaneous Records,  volume 2, page 69, April
1803 Court appointed William Mcfarland, Adam Whiteside, and Walter Carson
a committee tosettle with the Administration of Stephen Houge, dec'd on
the estate of William Queen.   theres more !
Note:  "Old William" came south to the Carolinas along "The Great Wagon
Route" from Virginia with his new wife Margaret Lewis. He puchased many
