NOTES: Johann Dietrich FAHL with his wife, Anna Margretha, and children set sail
on the ship Lydia from Rotterdam, last from Cowes. Master of the ship was James
Abercrombie. There were 66 men on the ship most of them with their families.
Women and children were usually referred to as freights and half freights and
were not named on the passenger lists.  On September 20, 1743 they arrived in
Philadelphia.  On this same date Dietrich FOLL took the Oath of Allegiance.
Johann Dietrich was a farmer. Christian Fall's Bible is written in German script
with a wooden back covered with leather and is in the Union County Museum in
Liberty, IN.  John Dietrich FAHL was a Private 2nd class in Captain Christoff
Baldi's Company in the Revolutionary War.  Johann Jost FAHL was a Private 3rd
Class in Capt. Baldi's Company of Braunschweig Township Berks County Militia
commanded by Colonel Michael Lindenmuth 3rd Batallion, April 23, 1780.  Also,
3rd Class in C. Minnich's Company.  Jost took the Oath of Allegiance on 5-25-
1778.
