According to Nathans Pension Application for the State of Texas, he has resided in Texas since 1875 and for a period of 31 years in Stephenville, Erath Co.. He served in Company E, Regiment 7th Virginia Cavalry for a period of 4 years. Nathan was elected 2nd Lieutenant, promoted to 1st.
