Johanna Wilcox LaFrance appears on her marriage license and at least one census record as Josephine. The latter name is also on her headstone. The majority of records lists her as Johanna or Joanna, although at least in one census she is \'Joe\'. We have no idea where Josephine came from or if it was a middle name.
