Simon Willis Merriman and his wife, Sarah Adelia McCONNELL, lived and worked at the Victoria ranch in 1875 until c 1879. Their son, Willis Lee Merriman, was born on the ranch in December 1875. Andrew's son, Franklin Rogers McCONNELL and his wife, Harriet Isabella ("Belle") Merriman, also lived and worked on the Victoria ranch.
