NOTES: The 1850 census gives the birth place of his first set of children as Alabama.  An affidavit written by Judge C. A. Wheeler indentifies the first family of David Looney as Isabella Lawhon.  Terry Poer Wright was his second wife and Sarah Dillard Davis his third wife. David LOONEY was one of the original signers of the petition to make Bowie a county.
