Documentation: John Terrel HUTTO  served as a Confederate Soldier in
Phelan's Co, Alabama Light Artillery.  Enlissted Jan 1865 and discharged
May 10th 1865.  James Turner HUTTO enlisted in the CSA 27 Dec 1861 at
Tuscaloosa Co, AL serving as a Sergeant in Phelan's Battery of Alabama
Light Artillery.  He was a prisoner of war for a short period when his
unit surrendered 04 May 1865 at Citronelle, AL:  he was paroled at
Meridian, Mississippi on 10 May 1865.  The family moved to Texas between
1878 an 79, settling at South Gabriel.  A large biography of the family,
