Comments: The 1870 census, shows John W. in Van Zandt Co., living with
his parents.  With changes in county lines over the years, it is possible
that they were living on the old Ford homestead, which is now located in
Henderson Co.  Most of the acerage is now owned by the Black Beauty Ranch
and is only a short distance from the Henderson/Van Zandt county line.
Sarah never re-married after John died.  She is on every census following
his death listed as a widow.  In 1910 she is listed as Head, occupation
Farmer with daughter Lillie L. who is 19 and daughter, Naomi M. Ware, 29,
also listed as widow.  They live next door to Bascomb B and his family.
The two younger children, Francis and Esther, found on the 1900 census
are not listed.  In the 1920 census, she is living with her daughter and
son-in-law, McCager and Lillie Cox in Pct 4, Henderson Co. (Murchison).
