 Documentation: * Daughter Elizabeth Canon Hickman was widowed in 1892
and she married #2. John J. Stainer on Jan. 1, 1896.  This marriage ended
in separation.   Robert T. Canon served the Confederacy in the War
Between the States and he was buried in Galveston.  In 1993, a memorial
marker was placed in the Center Grove Cemetery in Polk County, Texas.
