* Albert Louis and Mattie Crenshaw moved to Cresson, Johnson County, Texas from Rutherford, Gibson County, Tennessee around 1877 or 1878. They farmed and ranched in Johnson County. He married Annie R. Sullivan after Mattie died in 1901. He commented that when he first got to Texas he could ride all the way from Cresson to Fort Worth without coming upon a fence. Albert lived into his nineties.
