Penelope WILLIAMS' father, Stephen was a veteran of the Revolution, the
War of 1812, and the Texas War for Independence. He is buried at the
State Cemetery in Austin, TX. Nathaniel's father, William, first came to
Texas in 1826 and was granted land in the Bevil District.
