1. Civil Lawsuit filed by Barrington JACKSON against Wiley BOYD and
all
the heirs at law of John BOYD, SR. In the court papers are named
the
children and widow of John BOYD, Sr. SEE BELOW:
"........Being the same land heretofore recovered in the Supreme Court
of
Tennessee at Nashville, by the heirs of John BOYD, Senior, dec'd -
your
orator represents that his said interest of 5 1/2 ninths of said land
is
undivided & was purchased by him directly and indirectly from the
following children and heirs at law of said John BOYD, Senior, Dec'd
- to
wit - Elijah BOYD, John BOYD, Junior, Solomon KERR and his wife Adeline

was that she was suppose to have been buried at Yadkin, but the day
she
was to be buried it came a big rain and the creek was out of
control and
they could not cross so they turned around and brought her back
to
Bellah and buried her there instead. She said this was
the story that
was handed down from her dad.
