Documentation: Benjamin HANEY, III came to Anson County, NC with his
mother,  father, brother Henry, and probably three sisters by was of
Bladen County, NC.  They are in the 1800 Bladen County Census. Benjamin
HAYNIE's oldest son Hezekiah first comes to Anson County and buys land 29
Jan 1802; Anson Deed Bk N&O, Pg 147-148.  Benjamin HAYNIE and family show
up and buy land 14 Nov 1806: Anson Deed Bk L&M, Pg 318.  Benjamin Haynie,
Jr. dies befor the 1810 census.  Benjamin III becomes head of household
with new wife and his mother in the 1810 census.  By 1820 Anson census
they have 2 boys and 3 girls and Benjamin, Jr.'s widow.  Benjamin, III
leaves Anson County sometime before 1830 where his family is in the Perry
County, TN census. This census shows one male born 1825-1830; one male
born 1810-1815 (which means one brother left home late teens or died);
one male born 1800-1810 was not in the household in the 1810 or 1820
censuses and I presume he was not a son; there is one female 10-15 (which
means two daughters are out of the house or died).  By 1840 there is no
record of this family.  Would be interested if someone out there has any
information on this family.
