 Documentation: Will of Allen Blanten Bowden filed in Lawrence County,
Tennessee dated 16th November 1855 and filed in December Term of Court in
1855. He names all three children in the will, so this would mean than
William James was born before he died.
Gwen Scott Hardin of Kosse, Texas provided much of the information I have
on this family. She also sent pictures of this family to me. She great
grandaughter of John Huse Bowden.
