Documentation: Notes: Lawrence "Larry" Farley was the youngest of five
children and was the first member of his family to be born outside of
Ireland.  He lived in the areas of Meredosia, Illinois and Freeport,
Illinois before moving to Union County, Dakota Territory in 1875, where
he proved up on a homestead.  He remained there for the rest of his life.
