He died on 1 May 1753 in Smithfield, Providence Co., RI. He had an estate probated on 28 May 1753 in Smithfield, Providence Co., RI "Sprague Families in America", by W. V. Sprague, page 139. 1712. He bought land with new house upon it of Thomas Comstock, about ten miles northward from Providence at a place called Woonsocket and shown to be near Branch river and Woonsocket Hill in North Smithfield and was a taxpayer there from 1713 to 1748. 1738, Aug. 31.
