 Documentation: Enoch Place came from England to Boston in 1642. In 1663
they moved to No. Kingstown and bought a farm on Duck Cove, at what is
now called the Hummockes, near the village of Hamilton, RI...Place Family

of the Early Settlers of New England p154 ....The American Genealogist,
January 1945, by Donald Lines Jacobus p208......says-- Dinah Place who
died at Dorchester, MA 9n 28 May 1657, may have been first wife....Also
