 Documentation: Sources: Return of Marriage in the City of Pittsburgh for James O'Brien and Mary Hunter, year 1879.  James and Mary O'Brien are found on the 1880 census living with Mary's parents.  On the 1910 census Mary is a widow living with her niece, Jeannette Pender.  All of the census are for Allegheny County, PA.  Obituary for James Francis O'Brien shows he is the son of Mary Hunter and the late James O'Brien.   .
