Last Will and Testament of ENOCH YOCUM DECEASED "In the name of God Amen, I Enoch Yocum of the county of Perry and the state of Pennsylvania being weak in body and of sound mind and memory and understanding but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit: First, it is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as such as conveniently can be after my decease. Second, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Yocum now Mary Hunter, ten dollars. Third, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca Yocum now Rebecca Wyand ten dollars. Fourth, I give and bequeath the remainder of all my real and personal property to be equally divided among my eight children Isaac Yocum, Enoch Yocum, William Yocum, Isabella Yocum now Isabella Miller, Elizabeth Yocum now Elizabeth Shuler, Jane Yocum now Jane Charles, Martha Yocum now Martha Owens, Sarah Yocum now Sarah Hunter and lastly I nominate constitute and appoint Joseph Shuler to be the Executor of this Will hereby revoking other wills legacies bequests by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness thereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the eighth day of April One thousand Eight hundred and forty eight.
