Notes:
* Emigrated to US from Germany on June 5, 1847 on Ship Dank Caaliest; boarded in Rotterdam; settled in Rochester, NY later in 1847 and remained there for 19 years. Henry's wife Gezina died shortly after their arrival either in childbirth or fever. Henry married Gezina's sister who had emigrated with them. "Dank Caasliest" was a 345 ton sailboat which came to New York from Rotterdam on June 4, 1847; The Dank Caasliest carried mostly Dutch speaking Germans, many of whom settled in Graafschap, Michigan. Captain of the ship was W. Postma.
