5. Jacob Anderson Reinier had measles when he was about two years old and became a deaf-mute. He was learning to talk before he had the measles. He had terrible temper because of his deafness. He was sent to the deaf school in Council Bluffs where he met his wife, also a deaf-mute.
6. Lizzie Quick b. 1866-d. 1948 was a niece of Cynthia Quick.
