First: I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. Second: I direct that my body be decently buried on our family lot in the Llewellyn Cemetery, aside of that of my dear husband. Third: I give, devise and bequeath unto my dear son, Willard PEIFFER, the home in the rear of my property, the said home to be fifty feet in depth and the width of my present lot, absolutely, and in fee. I further direct that my son, his heirs and assigns, shall have the right of ingress and egress to and from the said property through my present lot, to the front of my said property, and my heair and assigns shall have the right of ingress and egress through the lot devised to Willard PEIFFER, to the rear of said lot as now provided. Mrs. PEIFFER was a life long resident of Llewellyn and was a member of the Methodist Church. Her husband died in 1929. ZIMMERMAN; Stricken in Laundromat Charles J. ZIMMERMAN, 77, of 1348 Himrod Ave., was pronounced dead shortly after 7 a.m. today in South Side Hospital after he was found on the floor of the White Cloud Laundromat, 1920 McCartney Road. The Mahoning County coroner's office said the death was natural. Mr. ZIMMERMAN had gone to the laundromat early this morning to do laundry for him and his wife, Mollie, who was unable to go. Following his first heart attack, he retired in 1957 from the New York Central Railroad where he was a sergeant with the railroad's police department. The body is at the Weller Funeral Home." July 2, 1974 "Mrs. Charles J. ZIMMERMAN Mrs. Mollie J. ZIMMERMAN, 84, of 272 Ewing Road died of a heart attack ailment at 2:20 a,m, today in South Side Hospital after a week's Illness. Mrs. ZIMMERMAN was born May 30, 1890, in Llewellyn, PA., a daughter of William and Rebecca DILCOLM PEIFFER, and came here in 1932. She was a dressmaker on the East Side for many years and was a former member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society. She had recently transferred her membership to Good Hope Lutheran Church. Her husband, Charles J., to whom she was married in 1912, died in 1967. He was a sergeant of police for the New York Central Railroad. Mrs. ZIMMERMAN leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lillian May of Youngstown and Mrs. Mari Lou BUCHANAN of Boardman; six sisters, Mrs. Dollie DEAN of Berkeley, Calif., Mrs. Nellie PINKERTON of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Cora Hazlett of Philadelphia, PA., Mrs. Hettie REED of Minersville, PA., Mrs. Bertha EVERLY of Elkins Park, PA., Mrs. Verna WILLIAMS of Lancaster, PA.; a brother, Willard PEIFFER of Harrisburgh, PA., seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son, Walton (Bud) of Hubbard, died in 1957. Services will be held at 10am. Friday at the Anstrom-Gustafson Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday."

She was the wife of the late Rev. Guy H. EVERLY, who at one time was pastor of Methodist churches in Llewellyn and Minersville. Among her survivors are two daughters, Betty Jean GASKELL and Jean EVERLY; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Willard PEIFFER of Harrisburg; two sisters, Verna, Lancaster and Nellie, a nursing home patient. Funeral services were held from Dunn Funeral Home, Langhorne. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville."

Born in Llewellyn, Feb 12, 1889 she was a daughter of the late William and Emma Jones Peiffer. She lived in Llewellyn before moving (to Wilmington, Delaware in 1965 and in 1973) to Alexandria. She was a school teacher in the Llewellyn area in the early 1900s and taught in the Silverton and Phoenix Park schools. She was employed by Mootz Candy Store, Pottsville, during the 1950's. She was the oldest member of Llewellyn United Methodist Church. Her husband, Forrest, died in 1939.   * There are several spellings for the family surname: "Peiffer"; "Peifer"; "Piefer" and "Pifer" in various historical records. The family preferred spelling is "Peiffer". *There is a discrepancy in the spelling of Willard Peiffer's wife, Gladys' maiden name. It is found spelled both "ROWLAND" and "ROWLANDS".
  * There are also two spellings "Rumpf" and "Rumph" found in various records.
  * Emma Rebecca Peiffer's maiden name appears on the 1870 Branch Township Federal Census and her marriage license application as "Jones".
