"Last Will & Testament of Jacob Heckman"
I Jacob Heckman of the town of Rising Sun Polk County and the State of Iowa, being of sound mind do hereby make this my last Will and Testament, First I hereby appoint C. H. Jewitt of the Town of Rising Sun, County of Polk and the State of Iowa, my executor. Second - I direct that my funeral expenses be paid as soon as possible after my decease; third - I direct that my son David of Wells County State of Indiana receive of my estate the sum of five dollars as his part of my estate, he having received his share heretofore; Fourth - I hereby direct that the balance of the balance of my estate after my debts are paid be disposed of as the law directs.
