His naturalization records reflect this with him declaring his separation from both Poland and Austria-Hungary. Tarnopol is now Ternopil, Ukraine.
* The 5th child in the family is "Rat Pack" member Joey Bishop. In the earliest days of his career, he was a member of a group of friends calling themselves "The Bishop Brothers" and he kept the name when he went solo. He was known for his stand-up comedy while hardly ever cracking a smile. He made his mark on TV, the movies and Las Vegas. He had two successful self-titled TV shows of his own and also made almost 200 appearances on the Tonight Show and many of those were as a guest host.
* Joey's ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean near his home.
