Family Tree Maker creates beautiful group sheets for printing but they are graphical
and we cannot post them to our FGS Project. This sounds like a lot of work and IS
for one group sheet but if you have many, it is worth the time.

How to turn your FTM information into a text-based family group sheet.

• You might want to print this page.
• Download the Legacy software and install it on your computer.
• Open Family Tree Maker:
• Click File.
• Click Copy/Export Family File.
• In the drop-down box, change to GEDCOM (*.GED).
• Click Save.
• In the next window, Click OK.
• When the conversion is finished, close FTM.
• Open Legacy.
• Click File.
• Click Import from.
• Click Gedcom File ...
• Click the Gedcom you just created in FTM.
• Click Open.
• Click Open.
• Choose the options you prefer (I do not suggest re-wordwrapping your notes).
• Click AutoSource.
• Click Don't Assign a Source.
• Click Start the Import.
• Choose the option you want.
• Click Save.
• When the import is finished, navigate to the person of interest.
• Click on the name so that it is highlighted.
• From top toolbar, click Reports.
• Click the Family tab.
• The title of your report should be Family Group Sheet for the [FullName] Family.
• Near the bottom of the window, click Report Options.
• Choose the options you prefer.
• Click Close.
• On right side of window, choose Text file.
• Top right of window, click Create.
• In new window, give your groupsheet a name.
• Click Save.
• You can choose whether you want to see the file you just created.
• You can either copy/paste this text file into a blank email to send, or you can attach
  it to an email.
