Documentation:
LaFayette MOSHER came to Oregon with Gen. Joseph LANE,
his future Father in-law in 1853.  He married Gen. Joseph LANE'S
daughter, Winifred LANE on 1st July 1856 in Roseburg, Douglas Co., OR.
LaFayette, served in the Mexican American War, and also in the Rough
River Indian War.  LaFayette, was a very well known Lawyer, and a Judge
