 Documentation: According to Gerald Caulk: Information from "Ancestry and
Relatives of Maude Voyles Overbey", Alva moved from MS to Indian
Territory in 1900 and lived near Paden briefly before moving back to
Corinth, MS, then moved to Willow Springs, OK in 1917.  Was a farmer and
member of the Baptist Church.
Family Bible lists the dates of birth for Alva Voyles as May 19, 1865.
Mrs. Maude Overbey states Alva Voyles was born in AL just over the MS/AL
state line.  She also states, "They lived in Corinth, MS until 1900, when
they moved to Indian Territory.  Then they moved back to Corinth until
1917, when they moved to the Willow Springs Community, near Haworth, OK.
They moved to Cromwell, OK and lived in the oilfields where their son,
Roy, worked.  They moved in with Maude, a daughter, when her husband,
Frank, passed away.  They lived with her near Haworth, OK until Alva
passed away in 1939.  Laura Etta then lived with Maude, Cordia, then Una
until she passed away in 1963.  Both buried in Pollard Cem. near Haworth,
OK."
