Documentation: I have pictures of their gravestones provided by Richard Tuck of Atlanta, TX. who now ownes the land that the Flemings farmed & where the Family Cemetery is located in Cass Co. TX. near Marietta....I have pictures of the gravestones of Robert & Bettie Cocke-FLEMING in San Antonio TX Mission So. Cemetery, provided by Sarah Reveley. Also have their Death Certs & Newspaper Obits from RAOGK. Am willing to share with anyone that needs/ wants to use them. June Tuck sent me a newspaper article concerning the shooting death of Benjamin F. Cocke. it seems to be a common, tho historical name, that I have't found info on it at present. John M. & Rosa Patillo-FLEMING & Benjamin F. & Livinia Bryant- COCKE are my g-g-grparents through my mother. Have no info on the PATILLO family of AL, but understand the family name still lives in Cass Co. TX. I would like very much to make contact w/ any living relatives before it is too late.. I want the info and pictures to share with my children. I have NO pictures of my mothe's family as her mother, Claudye FLEMING-FISHER, died when she was only 7 yrs & 9 months old. I did not get involved with Genealogy until my mother was nearing 78 & even tho she lived with her Fleming grparents in her teen years, she had nothing & remembered very little. Altho she was very alert til she died at 84, there were no memories of her mother because she had been so young. Claudye FLEMING-FISHER's young son, Chester Jr. preceded her in death by one month. I think Mom's name, INEZ, may have come thru the Patillo family. I have a candid shot of Robt & Bettie COCKE-FLEMING in their front yard but no pictures of their children.
