NOTES:
Lyman W. JONES and Ermina PEIRCE are my great great grandparents. Baby Hiram
Osro JONES was killed in a house fire the same day his sister, Ada Zella JONES, was born. About 5
weeks later their mother, Ermina PEIRCE JONES died.from fire and birth complications? Ada Zella JONES
died from TB-also from fire complications? My family told me that Gula Elma JONES was raised by GRANNY PEMBERTON.

They never mentioned Lyman W. JONES so I thought he had died, too. Imagine my surprise, winter of 2003,
when I found that he married Minerva BEARD and had children with her. I have 'met' some of her family on internet.
I don't know why my grandmother and aunts didn't tell me about their grandfather. And who was Granny PEMBERTON?

Granny Pemberton who raised my great grandmother, Gula Elma Jones Gill, was HER grandmother, Serena Mote
Jones Haworth Pemberton. They are together in 1880 Census-Ohio, Miami  County, Newton, Township as Serena
Haworth, age 57 and Gula E. Jones, age 8, her granddaughter.
