NOTES: Bertha Prince kept excellent records of the family history.  A portion 
of the Dakota Territory became the state of North Dakota in 1889. Joseph 
Harper Prince died of scarlet fever when he was 11 years old. The family is 
interred at the Soper Cemetery east of Nekoma North Dakota.
