Documentation:
All birth and death dates are from a journal kept by Eva
Carter Hatley on this family. The only child not listed was Nicey found
in the 1860 Stanly Co. census. Deaths are also from tombstones in the
Cemeteries listed. St. Paul Cemetery has a chart inside the church with
unlisted graves marked. A grandson of Rhoda HATLEY BOWERS put a marker on
Sarah FURR HATLEY's grave in the 1970s and her dates are from this
marker. I don't know where he got them. Marriages are from Pope County
Courthouse records except for Rhoda's, which came from Davie County
Courthouse.  Parents of Sarah Furr are from her father's estate
settlement, letters testamentary for his will.  Naomi C. HATLEY was
married 1st to James F. CARTER on 19 Dec 1872 Book D page 309 Pope
County, AR. He died and she remarried Mr. JAYNES.
