Some of these have conflicting information from the tombstones as found with Julia and especially Joseph. Dudley S. Gooch Sr. married 2ndly Mary Indianna Jones and had two sons William and Thomas, before her early death. Dudley moved to Nash county just south of Springhope before the Civil War and died there. His siblings Amos and Hannah raised his orphaned children.
