Bible records from John Caswell Forrest family bible in
the possession of Madeline Edwards of Dover, Arkansas. Cemetery records
and marriage records from Davie County, North Carolina and Pope County,
Arkansas. Marriage records from Davie Co. NC and Pope County, AR. In the
1850 Stanly Co. NC census, there is a child living with Jesse and
Missouri named Martha BOYSWORTH, age 15. She is too old to be their
child. This makes me wonder if she is Missouri's sister and that is
Missouri's maiden name. John Caswell Forrest was married four times.
Second wife was Mary F. ROBERTSON married 11 May 1878 in Pope County,
Arkansas. Third wife was Emma Ann TURNER married 10 Apr 1881 in Pope Co.
AR.  Fourth wife was Sarah Jane Venetta HATLEY PETTY married 20 Aug 1902
Pope Co. AR.  The last wife is my grandmother.  The wives of William B.
and Abram Allen FORREST were sisters.
