Elizabeth Ann CRAWFORD was married first to Stephen CRUMP
and had five children by him that are listed with her in the 1860 Stanly
County, North Carolina census. 1.  Lucy Ann CRUMP born 1851, 2. Wincy F.
CRUMP born 1853; 3. Robert CRUMP born 1854; 4.  Walter CRUMP born 1855;
and Helen CRUMP born 1857. I found marriages for the oldest two daughters
in Stanly County, NC. After Calvin died, she moved to Pope County,
Arkansas probably at the same time others in the family came (fall of
1871). On 22 Feb 1872 she remarried to Berkhead EPPS age 53 by W. B.
Savage, Minister Book D page 287 Pope County, Arkansas.  In 1880 they are
living in Grant Township in Johnson County, Arkansas.  Elizabeth's two
CARTER sons are listed as EPPS. Wilburn was age 15 and Elias was 14.  I
have found nothing else on this family other than the burial of Elizabeth
in East Point Cemetery northwest of Russellville, Arkansas.  My Gt
grandmother, Eva Carter listed these sons of Calvin and Elizabeth in her
journal.  She also listed the marriage date for Calvin and Elizabeth as
01 Oct 1863.  From the years of births of Elizabeth's CARTER sons, I
think that this date of 1863 is correct, even though the record in Stanly
County shows 1865.
