Documentation: Revolutionary War Pension Application File #W19942, filed in 1838
or 1839. Census records. Baptismal record for Thomas-Dutch Reformed Church,
Fishkill. Evidence for Sarah's marriage to Nathaniel Richards is 1912 History
of Ransom & Newton Townships, Lackawanna County, PA. Census records for their
son, Ostrander, list mother's birthplace as PA but his death certificate lists
mother's birthplace as NY. Have not found any evidence contradicting Sarah's
marriage to Nathaniel.
