Documentation: Documentation for this generation comes from the 1860 &
1870 NY Federal Census. Pls note that Stephen's wife is listed as
Caroline in those two documents; her son George William's death
certificate lists her as Kunegunda. Death dates for daughter Mathilde and
son Henry are obtained from records of Calvary Cemetery in Woodside NY.
This is the fourth generation of ADRIANS all descended from Joseph
ADRIAN. George William and his family (my g grandfather) moved from the
Lower East Side of Manhatten to Brooklyn circa 1911 as determined by NYC
city directories.
