Documentation: 1. Baptism records; LDS #0016868 San Lorenzo de Picuris/Penasco, NM. 2. 1870 and 1880 Census records for Rio Arriba County, Ojo Sarco, NM. 3. San Juan de los Caballeros Baptisms, book by Tomas Martinez. Comments: Maria Luisa is listed as a single mother in the records. Maria Luisa's son Eulogio is listed as Medina until the 80's when he started using the surname Aguilar. (I can only assume that he knew his biological father was Aguilar and that is why he changed his name. All his descendants used Aguilar as a surname.) There is a possibility that there was another daughter names Dorotea Medina but more proof is needed.
