Have been unable to find a baptism record for Juana Victoria Garcia Martin. Most records list her as Victoria Martin and one record lists Garcia and one has Juana Victoria Martin. Have been unable
to find a record of marriage for Bernabel ABEYTA & Juana Victoria GARCIA MARTIN.
Bernabel ABEYTA's baptism record as well as his sons is from: San Juan de los Caballeros Baptisms; 1726-1870; Database of the Archives held buy the Archdiocese of Santa Fe and the state of NM. Entry by Thomas D. Martinez.(book) (I have not found definite proof that the baptism record
of Bernabel ABEYTA is the same one that married Victoria Garcia Martin, however unless other records surface to prove otherwise I have listed him as the same one). He was born to unknown parents and the padrino/godparents were Nicolas Abeyta and Leonarda Tenorio.
This couple married in Santa Fe, NM in 1751 and he is listed as being a resident of Rio Arriba. Vitoria MARTIN'S death record from LDS film #0016982, San Juan de los Caballeros Marriages and Deaths. (Have been unable to find any later records for the children except Manuel Antonio ABEYTA in whose
children's baptism records name Bernabel A.
I think there is a possibility that Manuel Antonio & Miguel Antonio are the same person as there is no record of Manuel Antonio's birth.) (Abeyta has various spellings; Beitia, Beyta, Abeitia etc.)
