Documentation: My Paternal Grandparents
Stanislaus GALUS immigrated with an older brother in September 1898
from
Leki Gorne, Poland, which was under Austrian rule, during the Partition
of Poland.  At first he lived with his Aunt and Uncle, Andrew and
Maryanna GALUS PAPROCKI, near Tarnov, Platte County, Nebraska.
Martha KUDRON immigrated with her parents and siblings from Leki Gorne,
Poland, about 1908.  The KUDRON family first settled near Krakow, Nance
County, Nebraska.  They later moved to Columbus, Platte County,
Nebraska.
Stanislaus and Martha married in Krakow, Nance County, Nebraska.  They
farmed in Nance, Holt and Platte counties.  In the early 1940's they
moved to Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.  They were members of St.
Francis Assisi Parish in South Omaha.
