NOTES:
There
is much documentation to show that Benjamin JACKSON was married to one
of Lucinda WILBURN
SEABOURNE EVANS's daughters, either Caroline EVANS or Jane
SEABOURNE. Most
of the documentation points to Jane SEABOURNE, as her brother, James Monroe
SEABOURNE was
the Administrator of Benjamin's probate, he also became guardian to 4 (four)
of the
JACKSON children
and his Mother (Lucinda) EVANS, age 66, was found in the 1850 Jefferson
County,
MO. Census,
living with all the JACKSON children. I feel that if Benjamin's wife had
been Caroline EVANS,
then her brother,
Claiborne Walter EVANS would have been taking care of "business" instead
of James
Monroe SEABOURNE.
